living in a domestic and non-institutionalized atmosphere. Respite care is also available in this unit.
Younger People
Available at Alexander Court, Springfield, Derwent Lodge, Beech Court, Handford House, St Johns Wood, The Grange, The Chase, Cedar Court, Coplands and Blenheim, all are subject to assessment. We have designed specialist units to care for service users with conditions such as brain injury, Huntington's Disease or Parkinson's Disease. Each...service user will be encouraged to develop a care plan that identifies their individual care requirements and life
plan goals. The central goal is to maintain each service user's independence and ensure the role of family and friends remains central to their lives.
History
Life Style Care Plc has a proven track record within the care industry. The company was formed in 1987 and sold its entire portfolio of 24 homes (1,204 beds) in 1998 to NHP plc. Over the next 9 years the company rebuilt the portfolio to 26 care homes and in February 2007 sold 23 of these (1,730 beds) to Southern Cross Healthcare plc which transferred back to Life Style...Care in November 2011. With the return of these homes Life Style Care currently operate and manage over 2800 beds in the Southern Home Counties and is currently looking to acquire the management of in excess of a further 150 new build beds.

Mayor of Luton Opens Moorland Gardens Care Home
The Mayor of Luton, Cllr Syd Knight, will be officially opening our new Moorland Gardens Care Home on Friday 12th April 2013. Local people are invited to attend the official opening on Friday for a show around the home. There will be light refreshments available. The cutting of the ribbon will take place at around 2pm. If you would like to attend we would be delighted to see you there on Friday.
